My name is Dionysia and I am a 27 year old girl from Athens, Greece.
A little bit about me: I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration back home and came to the UK 3,5 years ago to do a masters degree in Human Resources and then look for work. During the time of me attending the classes, I realised what I already knew all these years but was afraid to admit- that I love working with numbers and therefore, I would like to find a job in finance. Due to me not being a quitter, I decided to finish this degree. Since my graduation, I worked as an Admin in both the educational and charity sectors.
Unfortunately, without a master's degree in Finance, or even a professional qualification like CFA I struggle to find even an entry level job in London or anywhere in the UK. I was accepted to do a master's in Finance, Investment and Risk, at the University of Kent, in Canterbury, and have also applied for a scholarship twice, which, I did not get it due to me already having a master's degree.
I am looking for any kind of job at the moment, however, it really is my dream to study what I am passionate about. Unfortunately, my family cannot support me financially, and I am also not eligible to get a student loan from the UK Government so I'm asking for everyone's help.
Can you please help me get one step closer to achieving my dreams and make my family proud of me?
If you want to have a look on my Linkedin please search for: Dionysia Kanellou.
Also, if you would like to check my CV let me know and I am more than happy to send it to you.
I am looking for some help so that I can cover my tuition fees which is £9,880.
