New stretch target
The more we raise the more likely we are of helping Jamie #BeatCancer
Help Jamie swim with a Blue Whale. Jamie has recently received the news he has incurable brain cancer at just 24.
About the project
One of our closest friends brother has recently recieved the news that he has a cancerous brain tumour which at this point in time is incurable. Jamie is only 24 and is an outgoing, atheltic & positive individual who recently competed for Great Britain in the commonwealth games. We initially set out to help him and his brother travel to Australia and to send him to Japan to train at the KodoKan.
Having reached our initial target with our previous crowdfunder we want to continue to raise money to fulfill some of Jamie's other dreams. He would also like to swim with a blue whale and due to our success so far are determined to make this happen. This is not cheap as can be seen here: http://www.naturalworldsafaris.com/destinations/indian-subcontinent/sri-lanka/suggested-holidays/sri-lanka-blue-whale-safari.aspx - so please give generously.
Furthermore we will be continuing to raise money which will be put towards anything across the world which may help find a cure for Jamie. We no longer have a set a goal and simply want to raise as much money as we possibly can and hopefully help him #BeatCancer.
Read Jamie's blog about his experience so far and see for yourself what he is going through: http://www.thelastthingiexpected.com/
We will be carrying out a series of fund raising events over the course of this year to try and raise the money to make all his wishes come true. Please dig deep and help make this a reality. It would be greatly appreciated by us all.
