Project aim

With your help, iniLiverpool.com will send their best writer(s) to cover the LFC match vs Malaysia XI at Kuala Lumpur, July 24, 2015.

About the project

iniLiverpool.com is an Indonesian independent Liverpool FC fans website, running from mid 2013. We provide informal, light-hearted, news, features and opinion relating to the Liverpool FC in a fan point-of-view.

This website so far is the only independent Liverpool FC fans website in Indonesia that being updated everyday with the latest news and stories. Organized by Eko Nurhuda, a freelance writer, passionate LFC fan and ex journalist in two local newspapers in Jogja, with his fellow LFC fan Ali al-Hamidi. We also has another writers and contributors, that write for the blog occassionally.

Till the end of May, the website has an average of 3.500-5.000 pageviews per day, and has accumulated more than 1 million pageviews during the period January 2014 - May 2015. The website is also well-placed in the first Google result page for certain keywords, i.e. "berita terbaru Liverpool" (meaning "the latest news of Liverpool"), "berita transfer Liverpool" (= "Liverpool transfer news") etc.

Despite that growing stats, iniLiverpool.com is currently doesn't have enough income even for paying fee to its writers. Eko, Hamidi and other writers/contributors don't get paid for writing on this website. Yes, we have ad, but the small pageview means the smaller fee we get. Per month, iniLiverpool.com can only generate about $20-30. To run this website, we pay $15/year to Wordpress for mapping service, $9/year for domain name, and $15/month for internet service.

So, that's why we need your help.

To make our readers get closer to their club during the preseason tour in July, with your help iniLiverpool.com plan to go to Kuala Lumpur and cover the Malaysia All Stars v Liverpool FC match on July 24, 2015. We will send our best writer(s) to cover the match and share the stories plus photos in our website.

We'll also make some videos about this journey and upload it on YouTube, in a brand new channel we name it iniLiverpool TV. This is not only benefiting us in raising more credibility among LFC fan in Indonesia, but also help other fans in Indonesia that can't watch the match themshelves.

We have estimated the budget needed for local transport both in Indonesia (we live in Pemalang, 341 km away from the nearest international airport of Jakarta) and Kuala Lumpur, economy return airticket, match ticket, as well as hostel and foods. This budget is initially set for one person, and if it's possible we will stretch the target so we can send two writers to cover better.

Again, it can only happen with your help.

We set this campaign as "Keep What You Raise".
