Harley is my son who is 8 years old. At 2 years old I was told harley had learning difficulties and had hearing impairment. Harley has struggled with ear infections all his life. He has had numerous operations to have grommets and adenoids removed. I have been told by his consultant that Harleys bones are disintegrating in his ears due to the amount of infections he has had. Harley struggles with his confidence and day to day living due to his learning difficulties. He has hearing aids but due to the condition of his ears his hearing is going downhill fast. Harley currently has a choclear aid which is on a headband and as you can imagine been a boy is not the best idea and is affecting Harleys day to day living more . Harley needs to have choclear implants in order to save his hearing as his ears are not working good enough, so by having the choclear implant it will bypass his ears and let him hear. Having this operation will greatly improve Harleys hearing and his life. Please please could you help in anyway you can.
