Our aim is to create a tea room which the Mad Hatter himself would be proud of.

As the potential owners of Hatter’s, we’re known as Bethanie and Sophia, both tea fanatics, with a desire to own our own business.

When we open our tea room, we’re hoping to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including: gluten intolerant, vegan and nut allergies. All our products will be produced using locally sourced organic ingredients, this includes the tea and coffee. We aim to be family and animal friendly (not including snakes, hamsters etc.), by encompassing the theme of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Faversham is a medieval market town, steeped in history, in the middle of a rural environment, with easy access to fresh local produce, near the award winning Brogdale Orchard. Within Faversham, we have an extensive range of Coffee Shops, however finding somewhere which provides the variety of tea we hope to offer is impossible. Furthermore, within the town there’s an increasing struggle to find food which it suitable to special dietary requirements, we want to decrease this struggle and give the residents of Faversham somewhere dietary requirements are easily catered for.

The money rasied through this page will go towards making our business plan and market research.
