As a young child, Halimot experienced great adversity, taking her away from her family and her homeland, Nigeria. This journey gradually let Halimot through continental Europe and to the U.K. where her and her three children now call home.

In 2016 Halimot graduated from Luminary Bakery where her passion for Nigerian food and baking flourished and she was equipped with entrepreneurial skills and support. Since graduating, Halimot started catering for friends events, the professional high quality service that is provided by Halimot means that word has spread and Halimot has quickly outgrown her home kitchen.

In order to continue to grow, HaliBerry Catering need a new premises as well as more, bigger, equipment.

Halimot has big plans for HalibBerry Catering and dreams of providing employment for women like herself, for whom life has been difficult and who may struggle to get opportunities to learn skills and gain experience otherwise.
