Green MP for the Forest of Dean

The Green Party do not have the same financial backing other parties have and do not rely on large donations from Bankers to push their agendas!  We therefore lack the money to stand MPs across the UK at every seat.

We are looking to raise sufficient funds to field a Green MP candidate for the Forest of Dean.   

The Deposit required to stand as an MP is £500 per constituency, this is to deter anyone who is not serious but in reality favours the larger parties backed by Multi Millionaires who have grown rich at the expense of our own society.  With your help we stand a chance of fielding a candidate and running a decent campaign here in the Forest of Dean, but we need your help to do this.  

The media blackout of the Green Party during the European Elections cannot be allowed to happen again during the General Elections.  We are the fastest growing party today and have doubled our membership within the past year.  We are also seeing huge membership growth here in the Forest of Dean.  

Many people who take the 'Vote for Policies Challenge' find themselves supporting the Green Party, a quarter of those who have done this (25.3%) from across the Forest of Dean would vote Green Party which is enough for us to win the ward at the next election.  See for yourself here:

In Gloucestershire we hope to stand candidates in all 6 seats and are looking to elect people that can make a real difference.
