Project owner

The project we are looking to run will allow British Inclusive Golf to identify disabled groups/individuals in the North of England who wish to improve mobility, confidence and have some socialising fun by playing the game of golf.

The project has to start somewhere and hopefully, we will be able to roll out the project nationally within 2 years depending on funding and volunteers.

Once we have identified the people we wish to help, we will organise indoor/outdoor golf sessions using target golf. We will then move onto a driving range and attend golf clubs to play a few holes. If people take to the game we will then introduce them to other golfers who have come through previous programmes.

We hope that people will then go on to join a golf club and play in the many disabled golf competitions available throughout the UK. These include representing the charity against other golfing organisations throughout the UK.

We are INCLUSIVE and would encourage ANYONE to get involved whether disabled or not.
