Thurston FC are in need of a new set of goal posts for their home pitch at the Cavendish Playing Field in the village. The pitch is used by two senior sides and youth sides throughout the year.
The current set are becoming unsafe due to age and the sinking of the sockets in which the posts sit.
£2000 would enable the club to buy new posts and carry out the necessary grounds work in order to replace the sockets.
