I'm raising money for a volunteering trip to Mae Sot, a tiny village on the border of Burma and Thailand. It's remote so it's not easy to get to, and it's a couple of long plane flights away! I'm already raising money to give directly to the orphanage, however they need two kinds of help: monetary, and hands-on.
While we work towards the first kind of help by raising money for them, they are also always in need of more people to keep the orphanage going, by cooking, cleaning up, keeping the children entertained, teaching them, and just basically looking after them. I plan to be doing that during May and June of this year, to go and help them in any and all ways that I can. However to do this I will need your help, to raise more money and support them face-to-face.
