5 years ago I changed my profession. I left my job in manual labour to embark upon my passion working in sport and working with children. I took an apprentice position working with young people with special needs, enhancing lives through the power of sport and physical education. To do this I took a big pay reduction and became determined to become a special needs physical education teacher. 4 long, hard but ultimately rewarding years later I have completed my degree in sports coaching, working a full time job whilst studying a full time degree.
I am now one step away from recognising my dream of making a huge difference to the lives of truly remarkable, but vulnerable, young people. I need £6000 to pay for a QTS course to become a teacher. If I cannot complete this course I will have to look at changing profession as my current position does not provide me with the financial stability to continue. I love the job and need your support to allow me to continue.
