Fresh Water Collection System for Makongeni Primary School, Kenya
We did it
On 9th April 2013 we successfully raised £340 with 9 supporters in 30 days

Makongeni is a village on the South Coast of Kenya, about 40km South of Mombassa. It is home to a state primary school with over 200 pupils from the village and surrounding area. The school (and the village itself) has a major problem with fresh water. Living so close to the coast, all the wells in the village and nearby are salt water. The closest fresh water well is many miles inland, and as a result the children in the school are often without water and get very thirsty.
