Free Food Forever is a wild food and cookery course for low income families and individuals struggling to afford fresh food in Cornwall. This free course teaches foraging skills and wild food cookery classes that revolutionise how local people eat and source their own food.

We launched this project in 2015 and have so far helped over 30 families (on a household income of 17k and below), previoulsy relying on resources such as food banks to survive. For our launch year - we were kindly funded by Unltd, through a programme called 'Appetite for Change'. Despite being a huge success - a year on and food poverty is still a huge endemic issue here in the South West. News of our course has travelled and we are constantly inundated with people at breaking point contacting us to come onto the course to learn these ancestral and vital skills.

We are now trying to raise the funds to keep this course going through 2016 and beyond - increasing our reach outside of our own local community for more people experiencing food poverty in the South West. Can you gift an individual or family with the skills to feed themselves and their families with delicious, nutricious and sustainable food for a lifetime?

Give a man a fish and he can feed himself for a day - but to teach a man to fish ....

From those who are retired and struggling to survive on a state pension, to those out of work or scraping by on a low income - we need the resources this year to reach out and help as many of these people as we can. This is not about hand outs or a quick fix but about giving people back the skills to feed and nourish themselves for free, forever.

Blessing to all who donate to this project.
