Our Pug Fitzy has a genetic disorder in witch his hip did not form properly we are rasing money to help with his vet bills and aftercare.
Fitzy came to us just 5 short months ago as a small puppy, he is a bright playful and often full of mischief. About a month ago we noticed something wrong fitzy became very stiff in his hind legs and found it hard to walk. We then took him to the vet and after a series of xrays we discovered he has a disorder that means his hips did not form correctly and he requiers surgery on both of his hips, stage one will be to strenghten up his better hip so that he can exercise better for a few months to build up his muscle so he can then have his full right hip replaced. Unfortunately due to an insurance issue our insurance company will not cover any of the costs and so we are rasing money in order to get the first surgery done and get Fitzy on his way to full health. The reality is this surgery is compulsory and indeed very urgent and needs to take place as soon as possible in order to give him the best possible chance at making a full recovery as he is still a very young puppy failure to do this will lead to cronic arthritus and the complete inablity to walk anymore. Fitzy means a great deal to us and we want to do anything in our power to help him get better. Whatever money you can spare would be massivley appreciated or even if you have any advise for us or experienced a similar problem we would love to hear form you we need all the help we can get. #HipsforFitz
