Why Donate to BERTIE & JIM (Working Title)
BERTIE & JIM is a micro-budget short film that I am creating for my graduation piece at Staffordshire University. The film will be exploring the barriers between the wealthy and the less fortunate and how that particular statement is irrelevant to BERTIE & JIM, we follow the young boys throughout a seemingly regular boring day, where they are constantly trying to one-up each other. With an expected cast of young and old non-professional actors, I wish to push my directing ability to its limit. By donating you will be supporting a film that follows a working class narrative and effectively discusses relevant topics within today's society. All the money that is raised will solely be spent on expenses and location hire.
The film will have screenings in Stoke-on-Trent before it is publically released and entered into film festivals, which all backers (and none backers) would be more then welcome to come along to.
Please allow us the opportunity to do what we are passionate about, and enable us to create something beautiful.
