A collection of new songs of hope, challenge, advancement, intimacy and identity, recorded with the input of incredible musicians.
About the project
I am delighted to announce that the time to record another album is here! Along with some talented musician friends I will be venturing into the studio in early April, to capture 10 of my more recent songs.
My musical journey has morphed greatly in the past 25 years since my first ‘tape’ format album. My passion remains God, and all things worship. There is now a stronger prophetic edge, a calling out to greater things, rooted in a certainty of identity and purpose. Bold statements of advancement intersect here with whispers of intimacy. The theme of the beauty of our good, kind God weaves throughout. I invite you to join in the roar and to encounter the God who is at once like a wave and like fire.
Funds raised will enable studio time, travel costs, payment of musicians, and the occasional selah whilst creating to rest and eat. Mixing, mastering and duplication complete the funding total required. I would be honoured if you would consider helping this happen. Many small amounts go a very long way! The signed album at £20 is an invitation to invest a little more into this than simply pre-ordering the final product at £10. Don’t forget to check out the links to the launch event and option of overnight stay at the venue; it would be wonderful to see you at that celebration! https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/4301754?guests=2&s=Fn-R
When you book me for an evening event, should you wish I could lead an afternoon session on a variety of worship topics, depending on your worshiping communiy's needs. We can decide on the content prior to the event; this can be for your church worship team or a wider gathering of the congregation. I offer practical sessions or interactive teaching sessions. Topics include developing your own prophetic song and sound, song writing, the role of worship and intercession, a whole range of worship band training needs, the What, Why and How of worship, the role of worship in revival, the power of sound etc. The experience I carry includes working for 2 churches as worship director for 8 years and much experience teaching and training various groups. I also hold a first class degree in worship and theology, and Grade 8 piano. In addition, I am a global trainer for Sounds of the Nations.
