Fighting diabetes in rural Morocco

I will be running the Marathon of Marrakech on Sunday 26 January for a charity my parents have set up to raise awareness and fight against diabetes in secluded villages in the North East of Morocco. On a monthly basis, the charity organises awareness days during which it brings doctors to meet villagers who hardly have access to any medical care. During these awareness days, they aim to give every diagnosed person a glucose reading machine to measure their blood sugar levels on a regular basis. Each of these machines costs £20.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY ! ONLY SKY AND THE FINISH LINE SEEM TO BE THE LIMIT NOW...

During these awareness days, 100 people on average get diagnosed with diabetes. Their aim is to give every diagnosed person a glucose reading machine to measure their sugar levels on a regular basis. Each of these machines cost 20£.

All you generous donations will be used to buy medicines and glucose reading machines.

The villagers, my parents and I thank you in advance for your support.
