DUNFERMLINE NORTH
Joe Long Lives in Dunfermline. He works as a Research Manager for a Scottish charity and third sector service provider. Joe has a professional background in social care as a support worker and manager, as well as in research and university teaching. He enjoys playing folk and Scottish traditional music in his spare time. Joe says:
"After working for many years as a support worker and manager in social care I know how important it is to provide proper care and support to the most vulnerable people in our communities. Everyone deserves a fair start in life and support when they need it. These values drive me personally and are fundamental to the priorities of Fife Labour in shaping council services - whether that is through investment in early years services, the Fife Youth Jobs Contract or building new care homes for our older people".
