Hello, I'm Feride (aka Fred) a designer and photographer from the midlands.
On October the 6th 2016 I will be climbing the highest muntain in Africa, Kilimanjaro.
I'm doing this for Zoë's Place Baby Hospice, Coventry who give 24-hour end of life care to sick young children and respite to their parents. Last year I climbed Snowdon for the same charity afterwhich I had a chance to see first hand exactly what theydo. This bought back memories of when my mum & dad had to make possibly the hardest decision of their life. About 20 years ago, mother had a baby girl who was unable to survive without a life support machine. As she was born in Albania, there was no support for her or my family. There was no other option.
This charity is close to my heart and I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for all the families who need the help and support. I have been raising money since January but am still about £2,000 away from the target and still in need to buy kit to use during the trekk. I need roughly £200-£300 for kit and vaccines and the rest will go onto my just giving page: www.justgiving.com/freddoeskili
Please help us reach out target and raise as much as possible for such a fantastic charity.
