New stretch target
If we manage to reach £250 then there will be a little bit left to buy a wendyhouse or a sandpit for the girls. But this is like the sugar on the cherry on the icing on the cake. So no pressure at all!
I'm trying to raise some money to fence in a garden so that two beautiful little girls have a safe space to play.
About the project
The mum and dad of these little beauties are hardworking and dedicated parents. They've had a lot to cope with over the last couple of years and they've done admirably well against ridiculous odds: poor health, difficult family times and a not very cooperative housing association. The house they were put in made them all very very poorly - they weren't told that it was infested with black mold. It grew in their clothes, beds, furniture and eventually in their lungs. They had to throw away everything they'd saved so hard for and start again. Finally, after a long fight, the housing association fixed the mold problem. But all their savings have gone now. They live on a busy road and they need a fence so the little girls can play outside safely.
We have a quote for £250. I'm putting up £100 myself.
But I just don't have the rest of the cash hanging around.
Can you help? A couple of quid? A fiver? It won't take long for us to raise the money.
Thank you so much!
