i bought this run down semi in 2003, with a view to settling down and starting a family. within 2 years i lost my job, my wife and child became seperated from me and i found myself in court for an offence i did not commit. i was looking at an 8 year sentence.

i had to move out of this house as i could not afford it on my own.

i decided to let this house to tennants and over the years the house paid for itself, but overall i've been left out of pocket slightly due to running costs / repairs etc...

now i have my personal life back on track, was found not guilty at court and with my wife and child by my side again i am  working hard at making a go of things as a newly reunited family.

after being apart for 6 years i want to give my family the home they deserve.

i have managed to save a little over the years and have paid for planning, architects drawings council  & buildings regulations' cost etc.. however i need this support from the good people on here to make our dreams come true.

i'm looking at converting this dingy pokey 3 bed semi ( which in it's current state requires a complete overhaul due to previous tennants' ) into a proper family home :

open kitchen diner with doors onto back garden, quiet snug and utility room with wc / shower. upstairs 5 bedrooms, 2 sharing a jack & jill ensuite. a master bedroom with ensuite 2 further bedrooms and a familty bathroom.

the loft is already converted to a bedrrom but this would become a study for the kid(s).

the garage is double length and will be extended to the rear ( curently just left overgrown by tennants ) to house a kitchenette and shower room. with the rest of the garage becoming a games room and gym.

this would definately help me make the most of my "second chance" and your support would not go un-noticed

not to mention, the eyesore this property creates would be replaced with a smart and warm family home
