Since 1994 Womankind has been at the forefront of campaigned to end FGM - keep campaigning, things are changing.

I came across your organisation a few months ago. I never came across a charity specifically supporting women's rights before and I was impressed by your methods and goals. Though I never donated to charities, other than giving things to charity shops, I have instantly setup a regular direct debit to support your work. FGM is an abomination and I am glad to be able to contribute to sorting it, if only a little

I hope you reach your target and that the money raised saves many from the pain of FGM.

I sincerely hope your target is reached. The practice of FGM can be found in many countries including apparently our own, an obscenity that but for the want of a little health education and the support of governments in actively opposing it, destroys lives
