The aim of this project is to introduce individuals (including young children) to some of the wonderful National Trust Houses and places of historical and cultural interest in Devon and Cornwall area such as Dartmoor. Many of the people we are in contact with have little or no knowledge about the national trusts. Most of our service users would not be able to access this sort of outing given their financial constraints. This project is mainly for disadvantaged people i.e Asylum Seekers, Refugees, Black and Ethnic Minority as well as local people within the community. We will provide a minibus, a driver, food and refreshment for this people, so they can come together to learn about the culture and learn about each other and also make new friends.
