On the 13th and 14th of may 2017 myself and a friend are doing a 62mile walk to help raise money for a special little boy Elliott. This walk is usually done in 4 parts and 2 and half hrs at a time. We want to do this in 2 parts over 2 days.
On the 18th December 2016 Elliott was prematurely born at 33weeks gestation. Elliott has recently had visits to the children's ward at Leeds general infirmary. After a couple of visits to hospital Elliotts parents were told he had a problem with his heart and he could go into heart failure at anytime. In a matter of weeks Elliott had to return back to hospital as he had started swelling up (it was a sign of heart failure). Elliott now has a feeding tube and needs a feeding bag to transport his feeding equipment around with him. These bags can be expensive and so can the character stickers they would use to put over his feeding tube.
Elliott had been diagnosed with PDA (patent ducts arteriosus) and PFO (patent for amen ovale)
Elliott has to have several operations to correct the problems within his little heart he will be on a feeding tube for a long time. We would like to raise £500 towards the feeding bag, character stickers and the cardiology ward at Leeds general infirmary.
Elliott is such a brave strong little boy. He has under gone his 1st surgery today (12th April 2017)
