Elect Steven Woolfe MEP for Stockport at the General Election on 7th May 2015!
About the project
Last September, I was selected to fight as your UKIP prospective parliamentary candidate for Stockport in Greater Manchester. This constituency has been a strong Labour seat for many years. For far too long, the Labour party have taken their support and votes in Stockport for granted. However voters in Stockport now understand Labour is out of touch with people who have voted for them for years and part of the elitist, Westminster political cartel. Labour's vote share has decreased rapidly in the last few elections, whilst UKIP's is on the increase. In 2015, only UKIP can beat Labour in Stockport. I was born in Manchester and grew up in Moss Side and Burnage, which is on the constituency border. As a boy, my first job was selling shoes at my mothers side from a market stall in Stockport. I have strong family connections to Stockport, family members live there and my young brother plays for Stockport County Football Club. I believe that with a strong campaign and your help, I can be Stockport's next Member of Parliament. Today I am asking for your help. To win in Stockport we need to spend money on campaign materials. Here is an example of the costs that we face: £200 can purchase 10,000 leaflets £250 can purchase 2500 UKIP Campaign posters £500 can purchase 250 garden ‘estate agent’ type signs £700 can purchase a Billboard in Stockport for one month
My recent action day in Stockport on January the 31st. Over 25 activists helped throughout the day campaign in Brinnington Ward.
