Being a sustainable fashion brand, we ensure the life of our garments are prolonged. All production is crafted and hand cut in a small studio in London with seamstresses who have ample years of experience. Production transparency is vital for our English label. Our textiles have graced A-list celebs like Thandie Newton and we have been voted Best Dressed in Vogue UK, as well as had many other features in Tatler, Style, Financial Times, Harpers Bazaar etc.
We have created a product that works and has gained recognitition over the years. We are now at a stage where we are looking for the expertise and investment to help push us into the various key markets. Getting a sales team onboard is critical, as well as creating more visiblity with our fabrics by being present in more stores and at more tradeshows.
A long term goal would be to use Eki Orleans as a platform to help put Africa onto the global fashion market. We would offer short term work employment to UK fashion students who we would enrol into an Eki Orleans fashion unit in Nigeria to teach the local fashion students the two areas we focus in -
1) the concept of print design
2) how to maintain the traditional technique of handcutting on silk.
The second stage would then be to pick the most talented local designers to employ into our unit and we would hope the others go on to establish strong and successful brands for themselves.
HOPE YOU HAVE BEEN INSPIRED BY OUR STORY AND VOTE FOR US!
