Education funding to qualify as a solicitor

Education funding to qualify as a solicitor

I am trying to raise money in order to help fund the next stage part of my education to qualify as a solicitor.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

I studied law at Oxford Brookes from September 2013 to June 2016.  I graduated with a 2.1 and have since been working in a law firm in London to gain experience.

Throughout my last two years at University I volunteered and ran a project at HMP Springhill to help integrate prisoners back into the community, and give them a chance to gain an education at college and unvisersity level. This was an invaluable experience. I learnt first hand what the consequences of a lack of education and stability can have on a life. Being able to provide support to these people drove me to finish my degree and pursue a career in law.

As September approaches, I would like to be in a position whereby I can complete my LPC. This is the next course that needs to be completed in the process of qualifying as a solicitor.

It is well known that pursuing higher education can be tough if you do not have the funds to support yourself.

I began work in July 2016, straight  after graduating from university in order to save as much money as I can to pay for a course called the 'LPC'.

The cost of this course is just over £15,000 in London.

Therefore I am seeking any help possible to be able to pay for this.

Thank you!

Emily
