New stretch target

If we raise any money above our initial target we will donate the money towards new equipment for the young players benefiting from our specialist coaching for children with special educational needs.

East London Rugby Club is a community club in every sense of the word. We get four men's teams out on Saturday, a women's team on Sunday, and also children's training at the weekend, which includes specialist coaching for children with special educational needs.

On top of that teams from Kings Cross Steelers share our clubhouse facilities on Saturday and during the week we host a variety of teams from banks, universities and colleges who play their home league games at our ground. And don't forget training nights too.

It all means our changing and shower facilities are in constant use. They are looking tired and need a wash and brush up of their own.  Our project is raising money for a lick of paint, repairs to floor and wall tiles, new shower heads, taps, towel hooks and new curtains for the showers that are reserved for the match referees. We want them to sparkle and be a welcoming environment for players to freshen up after a gruelling match.

Our target is to raise £1,500 to finance the project. Being part of this NatWest Rugby Force Crowdfunder project gives us access to an additional £750 of funding. However if we don't reach our target we won't be able to access any of the money pledged towards the project. It is therefore critical that we reach our target. It really is a case of all or nothing. If you can, please help us improve our facilities. Thank you.
