Alice sheeney aged 20 years has been battling the fatal metastatic breast cancer since the age of 17. Alice has been diagnosed another 2 times in the space of 2 years. Her second treatment involved the removal of both breasts followed by reconstructive plastic surgery and since then she has been struggling painfully.
For three years now Alice fears going to sleep every night, knowing that any day could be her last day. Therapy did not do her body any good, and she was recently advised with the heartbreaking news not to undergo any further treatment due to risks and uncertainty of the newest spread of her cancer.
I am a close family friend of Alice's and as a grant for Alice and her family I would like to raise money to take Alice to France for a week. France has a special meaning to Alice as her mothers grave is located in Pére Lachaise Cemetry just inside Paris. Alice has not visited her mothers grave since her beloved passed, and under the circumstances Alice has been pleading to visit her just one last time.
Outside the many other plans being made at this stage and hopefully understandably, the family have been completely unable to afford the trip. In the past we have turned the visit down due to Alice being in a medically unstable condition, however Doctors have decided she is now well enough for one last visit. Any donation; however small, would mean more than the world to us, to grant one final wish for our Alice.
