As the offical mascot of Dove House Hospice, Dulcie the Dove has helped raise thousands of pounds over the years for the hospice, making appearances at everything from bake sales, to marathons and everything else in between. Her support has been fantastic and made many of our hospice events that little bit extra special.
After almost 6 years of service to the hospice, she is starting to look a little tired after all of these events, so we'd like to give her a little bit of a makeover!
We are asking the people of Hull and East Yorkshire to help Dove House Hospice make Dulcie look new again and help us raise £1,200 for a brand new mascot outfit which we can put to good use in the community. Please can you help? A small donation to the hospice will help us buy a new Dulcie outfit and let her make special memories in the various hospice events that we have over the year.
Dove House Hospice has a total yearly running cost of £6.6 million and is funded for the equivalant of 40 days per year, the funds for the other 325 days we have to raise ourselves. Without people like you getting involved and helping to raise funds for Dove House, we could not continue to keep helping people in Hull and East Yorkshire who are living with life limiting illnesses.
