THANK YOU EVERYONE!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND THE WIDER CROWDFUNDING COMMUNITY!

I've reached my goal to cover my travel, batteries and the cost of a hard drive. Now any more money I raise will go towards buying art materials such as clay, cloth, card, mud rock, paints and chalks to make the animation as special as it can be. Dublin here I come!

THANK YOU!!!

I'm heading out to Dublin in my February half term and I will post regular updates on my art residency facebook page from the 12th February.

I've been selected as one of three international artists taking part in a three month art residency programme in Dublin between February and May 2016 at St Patrick's Lodge (http://www.st.patrickslodge.com)

On my residency I'll be

  • playing my cello on the streets of Dublin
  • recording street sounds and collaborating with Dublin based fiddle player Imogen Gunner (http://www.imogengunner.com) to create a new piece of music and performance piece to share in concerts in Dublin, April 2015.
  • working with Dublin based animator Andy Wielens.

Although the council have selected me, because of austerity, its my job to fund raise to make it happen.

Cash you donate will go towards paying for:

  • two return airline tickets for my cello and me in my February half term for the composing week.
  • two return airline tickets for my cello and me in my Easter holidays for the performing week.
  • batteries and memory card for an audio recorder to record street sounds in Dublin.
  • an external harddrive that I will need to save my work on whilst I am creating the animation.
  • flyers to promote my concerts.
  • expenses while staying in Dublin.

Thank you for helping me to create a new piece of music and animation with Dubln City arts.
