My name is Wickens Simba, playing basketball is my passion and I love it. I have the height, knowledge, skills and moves of a professional basketball player and I am dreaming big to be in an international basketball arena. I live in United Kingdom where basketball is not a popular sport, due to people being more into football.
Each one of us has God given talents, I would like to explore the gift I have and enhance my own talent as well as my team mates. Getting company sponsorships for our basketball team is hard as only a small population in UK are interested with it. Hence, my team mates and I have funded all the expenses from uniforms, sports hall hire charges, officials and travelling expenses around the UK to keep up with our passions and dreams.
Bristol Storm's return to the Men’s National League in 2016-2017 season was a great success, including qualifying for the Playoffs. Building on this success, Storm are planning their return in 2017-2018 season.
