New stretch target
If we made it this far...thank you!
We would add any additional funds to our current plans of developing, marketing and putting on our show. The funds would enhance our final production value and give us more opportunities to buy set, costume and continuing our work with our musical composer.
Jonathan Harker is imprisoned by the purest evil, a silent seductive predator watching his every move. The shadows of women, tormented beyond recognition, await one more taste of the living. As Harker falls into the depths of temptation, the mysterious disappearance of his dearest Mina begins to unravel. There can be no redemption for Jonathan, no hope for Mina, while the Count still draws near. With stunning physicality, Push to Shove’s wordless adaptation exposes Bram Stoker’s masterpiece and delves into the darkest desires of Dracula’s world.
Push To Shove Theatre Company are a new physical theatre company that create adaptations of well know supernatural tales and characters. Over the past year we have been working hard in order to create shows based around the idea of the supernatural. Dracula, our debut show, and one we are incredibly proud of, has been accepted into the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and as it is our first show, we are aware that it needs a lot of work both in technical and creative aspects.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
As this will be our first time at the Fringe Festival, we would love to make the most out of this amazing opportunity and make it as fulfilling and rewarding as possible. And that's where you come in...
There are a number of things that can help us so much along the way...
Firstly, the music. Being a physical theatre/ dance performance, music plays a vital role within the show and in order to make our show as amazing as possible, as well as personal to us, we are hoping to raise enough money to work with a composer and create a completely original score for the piece. This will not only help us create the show that we are imagining but will also give us the opportunity to work alongside and develop a true and authentic soundtrack to our piece.
Other production costs such as set and costume are also aspects that we would love the opportunity to explore more, and although we are contributing our own money into this, we can only get so far by ourselves.
And finally, the Fringe is home to thousands of performers and thousands of shows, and with this comes thousands of potential audience members. Any support that you could give us would be extremely appreciated, even if the donation is just £1, every little helps.
