We are opening a dormitory in October 2015 in rural Namibia, and the donor who was supplying 40 trunks for the children has let us down
About the project
The Catherine Bullen Foundation is a small UK charity based on Mersea Island, Essex. Since 2004 we have been involved in infrastructure projects in rural Namibia, southern Africa. Our current project is the construction of a dormitory to alleviate chronic overcrowding at the Eiseb Primary School Hostel. The dormitory is now complete and will be opened in October 2015. We have been let down by a donor who was going to supply 40 metal trunks which will hold the personal effects of the pupils. These are preferable to lockers and cost £35 each. Therefore we are appealing for funds to provide these.
