A little bit about myself and my need to raise the much-needed funds
I am 21 years old and in the final year of my music degree. I intend to teach and hope to pass on some best practice to posterity. When I first learned the piano, teachers were chosen because they charged the lowest fees and hence I don't feel I have been properly instructed. I hope nobody else has to repeat my experience. I would like to democratise music learning - popularising rather than elitising it.
I hope to pass my DipABRSM in the piano within the next 2 years and DipABRSM in the flute and the violin in the 2 years following that.
However, I need extra lessons which will cost probably in the region of £70 to £100 per hour. My Disability Allowance enabled me to pay for all my graded exams and lessons and I have achieved grade 8 in all these three instruments and the Theory of Music. I am no longer in receipt of my Disability Allowance and hence I have to resort to this channel.
As my violin is a student entry level one, I need to replace that, not the mention that the zip of the case has been broken for a long time and my violin instructor joked that I was airing my violin.
I would be extremely grateful if you could support me by giving whatever you can. I have attached various video links for your attention.
