Develop a Village

by paulkalinauckas in Wellington

We did it
On 29th July 2012 we successfully raised £5,200 with 81 supporters in 60 days

To develop a village in the Sekyere District of the Ashanti Region in Ghana. This will involve consulting with the Chief and Elders to draw up a development plan, normally including the provision of clean water, latrines, education and health facilities. This is part of a wider programme run by Ashanti Development, a volunteer run charity with experience in this area. This Crowdfunding Pitch will enable more people to join our campaign with lots of contributors giving a small amount, from £10 each, to reach our target of £5,000. We would be really pleased if you would join with us in making our Develop a Village campaign more inclusive, rather than us relying on one large donor for each village. See Martha Boadu and Penny David, co-founders of Ashanti Development, video request for you to join our campaign More details can be found on www.ashanti-development.org
