Project aim

I am trying to bring young people together positively and show them how the choices they make can help them live a better life ♥

About the project

My name is Alison Cope and my son Joshua Ribera was stabbed to death on the 21st September 2013. I work to educate young people about the consequences their choices can have. The legacy my son left personally and through his music was to show love, have manners and work hard. I try to promote these 3 very important messages through education and events. The next Depzman One Love event will be held in Birmingham's Centenary Square on the 29th August 2015. The event will bring young people together enjoying a wide range of music and entertainment. The event will also have a number of stalls and food outlets, activities for children and motivational speakers. Various organisations will be coming together to show our young people the opportunities Birmingham has to offer. I have had no funding for any of the events and sadly all the people I have asked to help me have been unable to. Without support I am able to continue the work I am doing ♥
