We provide dental relief work for refugees in need.
We carry out mobile and static health as well as dental relief work across the world. Our relief services are currently active in the French and Greek refugee camps and we wish to make access to dental care across various camps more accessible for refugees.
The static dental unit set up is the first of it's kind on the island of Lesbos, Greece. Our medical colleagues saw a great need for emergency dental care and requested we set up a dental emergency access center.
We would love for this unit to continue to run safely and effectively to aid adults and children suffering from severe dental pain as well as dental and oral infections. They are living under awful conditions and dental pain just exacerbates the misery they are living in.
We also aim to develop outreach volunteer programmes for camps further away from our base to allow further access to this much needed dental care.
What we need is dental supplies, rental vehicles for mobile facilities and support for dental nursing volunteers as their skills are absolutely needed to support the dentists in order for this work to develop into a better established outreach facility. We want to go where the need is.
I would be so grateful if you could help me and the volunteers achieve this goal. It would be an honour and privilege to be able to run and expand this project with your kindness and support.
