Providing comfortable, local lodgings with friendly hospitality.
Our home will be your home while you stay with us.
We will site a number of cabins on our land, adjacent to our own cottage, along with ablution facilities (toilets and wash rooms). The cabins will be comfortably equipped and we will provide food from our very own vegetable patch, fruit trees and our livestock. Our chickens provide fresh eggs daily and our seasonal fruit and vegtables is picked by hand to guarantee the freshness! You may even come and pick your own, should you wish to. Our cabins will be self-catering but we will always be on hand to assist our clients in any way possible.
What we now require is some investment to kick start our project. The funds obtained through this crowd funding will help us to purchase the materials to build our cabins and facilities. We will begin with 2, high quality, insulated cabins. They will be furnished and equipped with a log burning stove to provide a pleasant and cosy environment. They will each have an outside seating area for whiling away the time on beautiful evenings.
Our ablution facilities will be located conveniently for the cabins and will be designed to compliment the style of our cabins. We will use high quality equipment to ensure that using them will always be a pleasure. The building will be will be insulated and heated to ensure comfortable use, even during winter months.
This will be the site for the cabins and bathroom facilities.
A Local Business
We are dedicated to supporting local farms and businesses. We will endeavour to provide food and products from local suppliers, directly from the source, as much as we can. We believe that supporting your friends within the community is the key to happy and sustainable living.
Our dream began after Jane became very ill and spent a long period in hospital, a few of years ago. This made both of us realise that life can be short and it should be made the most of. So, we decided to look into getting a house with some land so that we could start a small hospitality business and spend more time together. It took a long time and many trips around England to finally find a place we could see ourselves settling in for the rest of our lives and making our new life a reality. We now have a fabulous cottage and a small piece of land to set up our cabins.
