The first part of the funds raised will buy all the materials required to complete the clubs DIY weekend jobs list (Natwest Rugby Force 2017). This weekend brings many volunteers together who invest their time and expertise in maintaining and developing the facility. An example of this will be to build a brand new outdoor BBQ and entertainment area which will improve our match day experience and increase our capability to hold local events and functions. We will also be undertaking vital maintenance work around the site and clubhouse to ensure the improvements we are making on the field are reflected off it!
The second part of the funds wil be used as match funding to allow the club to apply for facility upgrade money from Sport England. CRUFC are keen to install new sporting facilities in the shape of a new Multi Use Games Area on the current dated tennis courts and further development of the outdoor gym. Both facilities will be of great use to the local community.
To become a hub of local physical and social activity and if we can fund these vital improvements through the generosity of local people and businesses it would be a huge step towards achieving that goal.
To develop indoor & outdoor areas to create an inspiring sporting facility which will impact on the health and well being of our users.
