Help me raise enough money for Crina in order for her to give birth to a healthy baby and to have everything a new-born needs.
About the project
A couple of years ago, my sister, Crina Mihaela, 27 now, has suffered a fibroid surgery in Italy. Even though the fibroid was as big as an orange, the doctors saved her uterus, and said she will be able to have babies, but through caesarean birth, and under strict medical monitoring. Last September she started studying Psychology at the University of Northampton, UK, through a government loan. It was not easy, but she finished the first year successfully, and ever since than she has been looking for a job, unsuccessfully, though. She is now 4 months pregnant, not feeeling very well, and will probably be a single mom. After talking with the midwife about her surgery, the midwife said that the only way she would be followed by a specialist or received in hospital is if she is bleeding. We talked about her situation with the Student Finance, Citizen Advice, Borough Council, and it seems that she cannot receive any funding, nor being monitored by a specialist about her baby's health or hers, free of charge. She will not even meet once the doctor who will do her caesarean untill the day she will be operated in order to give birth.
In the past months, she has been constantly crying, been depressed and isolated herself. Crina won't talk to anyone, not eat regularly, and that worries me, both about her health and the baby's. Only once, she told me: ''how am I to feel, when I cannot find a job, pay the rent, I cannot afford to buy clothes for myself as my tummy grows, cannot go to the doctor, and not being able to buy anything for my first baby?''
The story is longer than that, but I stop here, hoping that through your donations and care she will be able to regularly go to a doctor, in order to give birth to a healthy baby, and will also have to give the possibility to welcome her first born with everything it will need.
Thank you all from the heart.
