As we get older we start to think about our home and the changes we might need to make to stay living there. We might worry about how long we'll be able to climb the stairs or whether we might slip and fall when getting out of the bath.
The aim of this research is to better understand the motivations and expectations of consumers when they are looking to adapt their home, and what information and support they need to make a decision.
The approach will involve a mixture of street and telephone surveys (sample size: 350) with older people across England and to provide insight for local authorities, manufacturers and home improvement agencies.
The timescale for this research project is 13 weeks.
