Project Aim

To provide computers for use by Air Cadets (ages 12-20) and staff to complete the D of E Award & aviation syllabus BTEC, and more.

About The Project (The Computer Bit)

We currently have a quantity of computers running windows XP which have been donated over the years but are no longer running well and part of the aim of this is to get computers that will see us well into the years to come.

We aim to buy computers for 2 different uses; For the staff to administer the squadron, and for the Cadets to complete online learning & exams with an aim to complete Level 2 BTEC awards in Aviation Studies. The Duke of Edinburgh Award is now accessed online and this will enable us to offer this award to the Cadets.

The more we raise the more computers we can get!

About Us

We are a youth organisation with an Air Force and aviation theme, teaching and developing children between 12 and 20. We currently have about 65 Cadets. We provide BTECs in Aviation Studies, public services, awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, along with teaching, teambuilding and leadership skills.

We are a non profit charity organisation that is responsible for fundraising ourselves. Our doors are open to all children, not just those interested in aviation, and we are run by unpaid volunteers.

You may have seen our Cadets out in the community; we regularly help the Royal British Legion with the Poppy Appeal and the Royal Air Force Association with the Wings Appeal. We've also helped fundraise for the West Midlands Air Ambulance, The Coventry Fun Run, Help for Heroes and the Jubilee tree planting. This crowdfunding will help us continue to do all of that and more for years to come.
