Making great community ideas happen on Crowdfunder

Crowdfunder connects great community ideas with people who want to help make them happen.

They come in all shapes and sizes, and hundreds are added each day.

Their funding targets range from £500 to well over £2million, but at the heart of each is an amazing story and a group of inspiring people.

Crowdfunding has the extraordinary potential to connect individuals, communities, charities and businesses to improve lives, one idea at a time.

And there's well over £2 million of extra funding available on top, with up to an additional £1,000 available to great community projects on Crowdfunder.

What communities are doing on Crowdfunder

Putting on a show

Putting on a show

Hundreds of people are turning to us to fund great community events, just like Samphire Festival. They became the fastest ever funded festival on Crowdfunder, raising £42,855 inside 56 days thanks to 336 supporters.

A platform for real change

A platform for real change

Crowdfunder is an effective platform for raising awareness for important causes such as Adventure Ashram, a charity against human trafficking. In the end they raised £22,464 from 140 backers in a month.

Saving the places that matter most

Saving the places that matter most

People are using Crowdfunder to bring to life the places and spaces that matter most to them. Like when a former lawn tennis court in Plymouth fell into disuse and was earmarked for development, but the local community turned it into a community garden with £21,380 in under a month.

Serving the community

Serving the community

Increasingly people are crowdfunding things that serve the community. Just like The People’s Fridge in Brixton, which doubled its target by raising £2,270 from 127 supporters to create London's first community fridge where people can give spare food, and those who need food can take it.

Bringing people together

Bringing people together

We’re a platform for bringing people together in groups around common interests, like runner Frank Murphy did. He created a running club for kids in his local area so they could enjoy exercise, raising £5,147 from 348 people to make it happen.
