Lorna Morison is running in the Brighton Marathon on 17th April 2016 and is raising funds for the Home Counties Cochlear Implant Group.

HCCIG is a support network where implantees, potential implantees and parents of children with cochlear implants can exchange information and discuss all aspects of cochlear implants in a social environment.

HCCIG is run by deaf people, for deaf people who use cochlear implants. They want to give independent peer support for those awaiting or considering cochlear implants. They also try to alleviate the isolation and social exclusion of deaf people with cochlear implants and their families.
