Christmas Food Baskets for Homeless People

Newcastle University students wanting to help create Christmas baskets for those people alone, hungry and homeless this Festive Season.

Hello, isn't Christmas a lovely time, spending time with our loved ones and indulging in a few too many mince pies. Unfortunately, not everyone will experience this joy and will be both alone and hungry this Christmas day.

We are a group of Newcastle University students that are wanting to help create Christmas baskets, containing food, water, blankets, snacks, and if necessary dog food, to give to the homeless people on the streets of Newcastle.

Our aim is to create 200 baskets and give these to those homeless on the streets this festive season. We will also be donating any money left over or surplus supplies to the local homeless shelter, so that the money and items can still be used for good.

So please help us, help the homeless this Christmas! No one deserves to go cold, hungry and alone on Christmas Day.

"Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most."
