Novus Property Solutions have set a target to change 10,000 lives

Project aim

Novus Property Solutions have set a target to change 10,000 lives, the aim is to make a positive contribution to improving peoples' lives by providing opportunities for employment, skills development and holding community projects to tackle local issues within the communities we work across.

About the project

Highlighted on our website: http://www.novussolutions.co.uk/changinglives/  are some of the lives that Novus employees have already helped change. In 2015 Novus employees have supported and changed over 1000 lives and within these lives have transformed 100 lives dramatically. Our employees have also fundraised and donated over £30,000 for good causes and helped contribute £2 million worth of social value through this Programme!

But the team at Novus want to do more and help change even more lives, which is why we have created a crowd funding page to allow our employees, partners and supply chain donate and help fund more projects.

Make a seriously ill child's dream come true - Triathlon Challenge

The Novus East Midlands team led by Operations Manager, Andy Besford are taking part in a triathlon event on the 26th September to raise money to take a seriously ill child on a much derseved holiday to Portugal to furfil his dream to see the Dolphins.

The charitable event will involve canoeing for 15 miles, walking for 5 miles and cycling for 10 miles (10+ participants are taking part in this challenge). Andy's nephew, Preston Evans has been suffering from a serious genetic illness for the last 12 months, the rare condition known as 'X ALD' is an incurable condition.

Preston over the last year has endured multiple treatments including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant which meant he has previously been confined to hospital for long periods. Andy commented; "His positivity, strength and happiness throughout this time has been inspirational to all and we are hopeful that he can be the first little boy to defeat this awful condition."

Andy and his family would really appreciate any support with fundraising, money donated to this good cause will fund Preston's dream trip (and additional funds raised will be put towards future 'Changing Lives' good causes)
