Champion Strength & Conditioning

Champion Strength & Conditioning

To create a performance facility for combined strength sports, for able-bodied & disabled athletes, and general public of all ages.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

The business aims to create a training environment for athletes of all levels and people that wish to train in a strength and conditioning environment. The facility, in time, will provide for Paralympic weightlifting facilities and would like to accommodate for general physical and mental disability exercise alongside regular exercise training.

The partners have come together from strong positions in the fitness industry, having run facilities in the past, holding major competitive titles and awards, and running prestegious events.

A proposal for leasing an industrial unit has been submitted, the unit is 1600sqft, and situated within the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes.

The unit has parking directly outside. The facility has access doors to the front and rear and also a large roller shutter door to the front. There is a toilet block consisting of 2 standard access toilets.

In order for the unit to be fit for purpose some areas would have to be altered:

  • Acquiring D2 usage for trading from the unit – this application has already been submitted, and the lease of the unit is dependent on it's acceptance.
  • Disabled toilet access – this would involve widening of 2 doors on one of the toilets and disabled toilet and railings put in.
  • Stud walling and carpeting to create a reception area and therapy room.
  • Slop access to front door and railings for disabled access.
  • First quarters’ rent.
