Challenge Antarctica is an expedition planned to take place in the Antarctic summer of 2018 - 19. It will be Baz Gray's attempt to cross the entire Antarctic continent, coast to coast and Solo, unsupported and unassisted. This will be a world first edge of human endurance expedition, requiring all of Baz's 26 years of experience working in some of the most romote and exposed areas of the planet.

The project is also designed to allow Baz to use the expedition to work with schools and the younger generation. This has already begun and is proving very popoular. Baz wants to build on this good start and open up the same opportunities for much more schools. School children will be learning in a fun and exciting way with Baz, discovering what makes this planet so special but also fragile. What can we do in our every day lives to help make a differnce to our future? Projects will mainly revolve around Antarctica, its constantly changing surface, it's wildlife, flora and fauna and most importantly how what happens in Antarctica can play a huge part in what happens in the rest of the world.

Your help and support will not only help me achieve this expedition but will help me teach our younger generation to better understand what is a very political and complicated area of science.
