Challenge Antarctica is an enviromental awareness project that will highlight global warming and the issue's created by it at the bottom of our planet. The main audience will be School children and many schools have already begun to engage with Barry in order to support and follow his project.

Barry is a former Royal Marine of 26 years and has served all over the globe but most significantly in an extreme cold weather environment for many of those years and reaching the position of Royal Marine Mountain Leader Chief Instructor. During his many years of exploring and working globally in extreme conditions he has noticed many changes and also witnessed the devastating effects it is having on many communities now and many more in the future.

One of Barry's ongoing enviromental projects is supporting Tim Jarvis's 25Zero which highlights global glacial melt at the equator, 25 mountains, zero latitude. What he has learnt here has given him the drive to do more.

Barry will use this "World First" feat of human endurance as a platform to take his message to children everywhere in a fun and exciting way. You can support this project in many ways and it would be fantastic to have as many people as possible supporting and joining me on this journey.
